Vintage Home Must Haves

1. Dressing Table
This cream design is stunning and is necessary to complete a vintage inspired look, paired with a cream vintage mirror and comb you are set!

2. Chandelier
I currently have a glass chandelier in my bedroom which disperses the light beautifully and brightens up every corner of my room. So dash off to BHS or B&Q and get yours!

3. Tala kitchenware
When baking your yummy cupcakes only the best kitchenware will do! The Tala collection has such a cute design and offers anything you could need for cooking in the kitchen!

4. Cupcake stand
To go with your Tala kitchenware you will need a fabulous tiered cupcake stand to present all your hard work in the kitchen! Card versions are also available with the traditional china and wire stands.

5. Soap and Glory
I love love love with their witty puns and sensational smells. No bathroom is complete without a Soap and Glory soap and hand cream!

6. Bird cage
A lovely bedroom accessory when paired with sumptuous candles or even a little toy bird! Hang or place anywhere in your home to add a dash of elegance and class!

7. Vintage signs and canvases
There is an abundance of retro and vintage signs out and about at the moment with every saying you have and haven't heard of for your bathroom, kitchen and bedroom.

8. Hanging Hearts
I have many of these hanging from every cupboard in the kitchen- my favourite has to be a red wooden heart with a rope handle. Amongst my collection are wooden, wicker and metal ones!

9. Vintage camera
Okay not officially homeware but you could incorporate it into a room when it is not in use and place the photos from it in dainty frames or pinned on a cork board!

10. Vintage inspired cushions and pillows
Pillows make any living space more homely and comfortable- hummingbirds and floral patterns are great for creating a calm mood!

Kit out your home or pop some of these on your Christmas list! Leave me a comment if you think there is something missing from my Top 10!

Vintage Clothing & Accessories Must Haves

1. Headscarves
The perfect way to jazz up any outfit and add a vintage twist! You can purchase scarves with and without wire depending on your tie technique! They come in every colour so are ideal to match with anything in your wardrobe!

2. Brogues
I  adore these shoes as they look fabulous with dresses, shorts and skirts. You can buy them from most high street shoe retailers if you can't afford real ones- Primark do a very extensive range!

3. Red lipstick
Not technically an item of clothing but a bright shade of red or maroon is a must have for any girl! Every make up manufacturer has their own shade of red so go and get yours!

4. Vintage bag/satchel
I am head of over heels in love with vintage bags and satchels! They complete an out fit and allow you to carry a bit of the vintage era wherever you go!

5. Ray Ban sunglasses
Not key for this month's weather but are a DEFINITE for the summer! These Ray Ban ones are gorgeous but loads of replicas can be found for half the price.

6. Fur coat
Perfect for this time of year to keep you as snug as a bug in a rug! It's a toss up between tan and brown for me, or is leopard more your style?

7. Vintage inspired blouse
I love my vintage blouses paired with a cute skirt or pair of tweed shorts- make sure you have a selection in your wardrobe!

8. Vintage style dress
Skater dresses are a must have for me with simple lace detailing in vintage pastel colours! Have a look for an Autumn number for your Christmas parties!

9. Varsity jacket
When I got to wear a range of styles for the Vintage Child shoot I was in love! I am yet to buy one but I shall update you all when I find the one I'm looking for! Again these jackets go so well with a range of outfits and certainly highlight a retro theme!

10. Vintage inspired jewellery
This bike necklace is so cute and will really finish off any outfit! The dusted gold is so popular right now so make sure your jewellery box is bursting with rings, necklaces and charm bracelets!

Let me know what awesome clothes and accessories you find! I will also be doing 'Vintage Home ware Must Haves' so your bedroom and kitchen can look at retro as you!

Please please please do leave a comment as I love hearing from people who actually take the time to read my ramblings!
