A coat is a signature piece of clothing for every girl when the cold bite of Autumn makes an appearance. But finding the perfect one to suit your needs can certainly be a battle! If you haven't got the dosh to splash out on 10 gorgeous coats it's key to find the one that ticks all the boxes!

The Military

This characteristic style coat has changed and developed over the years but has still remained a classic. Short, mid and long length styles are available offering a wide range of  versatility. Burberry's take on this coat, shown above, is a timeless replica of the original trench coat, but if you fancy something more simple, elegant or a bit different have a look at the ones below!

Green: £95 at Littlewoods
Red: £40 at Peacocks
Blue: £125 at ASOS

The Duffel

The Duffel coat is another military inspired coat that is sure to keep you snug in the frosty winter mornings. The stunning Gloverall coat is simple, gorgeous but will set you back £275! So if your budget is considerably less take some inspiration from the ones below!

Beige: £48 at ASOS
Purple: £80 at Miss Selfridge
Leopard: £85 at Topshop

The Parka

The Parka coat has to be one of my absolute favourites! The neutral green colour and sumptuous fur detail make this coat a perfect buy! Shake things up a bit with funky colour and exciting features

Green: £55 at Dorothy Perkins
Red: £69 at Littlewoods

The Fur

This style coat is 100% sure to keep you warm and is certainly in fashion. If you are not a fan of the price or concept of a real fur coat there are plenty faux styles out there for you to chose!

Cow print: £80 at ASOS
Beige: £85 at Lipsy
